AAYR September 23rd Monthly Meeting With Matt Schlapp!

This month we are pleased to present Matt Schlapp as our speaker.  We also want to let you all know that we will be having our next two meetings (September & October) at Hard Times on King Street and not at Murphy’s.

As many of you know, Matt is the Chairman of the American Conservative Union and also an Alexandria resident.  Matt also worked as Regional Political Director for President George W. Bush’s 2000 campaign and served as the White House Political Director during the 2004 re-election.

His Congressional experience began during the Republican wave of 1994 (which was the first time in over 40 years that Republicans controlled the House) as a Chief of Staff for a Kansas Congressman.

We are pleased to hear Matt come and talk to us about his work at ACU and his views for our local, state, and federal political engagement.
